WHY DOES DAI UK EXIST?
The first step to solving any major problem is having effective leadership. If leaders lack the right skills, they lead poorly. However, when leaders learn biblical servant leadership, they choose to serve others and build up rather than use up others. These transformed leaders become significant change agents as those around them respond to and emulate the leaders’ genuine love and concern for others. Such servant leaders have a long-term, deep impact on their communities and nations.
DAI globally exists to equip and empower this kind of leader.

GLOBAL NEWS
Beginning in mid-June, violent protests have swept through Kenya, leading to at least 50 deaths, many at the hands of police. Young people initially took to the streets to protest proposed tax hikes, but the movement has transformed into a call for government accountability and reform.
Please pray that safety and stability would soon return, along with humility and openness from Kenya’s leaders to listen to and serve their people.
